Melissa Golden is Director of Operations at VIA Programs, a San Francisco Bay Area-based nonprofit organization that has facilitated experiential learning and cultural exchange between the US and Asia for over six decades. Melissa has over 15 years of experience international education and community engagement, including working in rural northern Japan as an English and intercultural educator for five years, and holds a master’s degree in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She utilizes her international experience and professional expertise to further sustainable organizational development and operations at VIA and frequently serves as a mentor to future international education professionals.
