Senior Director of Global Recruiting and Marketing
Muchadei Zvoma leads the recruiting team for the Middlebury Institute and manages the marketing of the Institute’s wide range of programs. He is focused on driving a strategy that attracts students who will greatly benefit from the MIIS experience and go on to make meaningful, positive change in communities around the world.
Muchadei was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and moved to the U.S. for undergrad at Middlebury College. After graduating in 2007 he worked as a project manager at a digital advertising agency in New York City. He returned to Middlebury College in 2008 to work in alumni relations and then fundraising.
After this second spell at the College, he went back to school to get his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management where he focused on marketing and strategy. He started working at the Institute in 2015 in a marketing role and after several years back in Zimbabwe, he returned to the Institute in 2023 and now heads up both recruiting and marketing.
